This is Eric Carle's first illustrated book。 It is amazing to me that his style and craft was already developed and very impressive right off the bat with this book。 He is an amazing illustrator。 This book is great for learning animal names and their noises。 This is Eric Carle's first illustrated book。 It is amazing to me that his style and craft was already developed and very impressive right off the bat with this book。 He is an amazing illustrator。 This book is great for learning animal names and their noises。 。。。more

This book is a beautifully designed children's book。 It is very bright and colorfully。 It is about a brown bear and this friends。 This book is very repetitive with the saying " what do you see" and "looking at me"。 I love the illustrations in this book and I think this is a great book for grade levels K-2。 This book is a beautifully designed children's book。 It is very bright and colorfully。 It is about a brown bear and this friends。 This book is very repetitive with the saying " what do you see" and "looking at me"。 I love the illustrations in this book and I think this is a great book for grade levels K-2。 。。。more

Brown bear Brown Bear What do you See? Is a really good book for younger students。 This books helps young children learn colors, and the colors and different meanings of objects, as well as animal names。 This is not a book I would recommend for older students, just because they will not find it as engaging as younger students, as well as they won’t benefit as much as the younger students。

I honestly love this book, I used to read it all the time as a child and I still have this book kept for my future kids。 This book is somewhat repetitive with the rhyme it has when you read it。 It is very colorful and it involves different colors as well as different animals who are looking at each other。

This is a great classic to read to young children。 This book can help them to recall the last animal they saw。 As they read through the book the teacher can ask the students what the last animal was that saw the one they are looking at。 The book can also help children to identify colors since each animal in the book is a different color。

Our first Eric Carle book。 I didn’t even know about this kind of book before we had kids。 It’s definitely grown on me throughout all the times I’ve read it to my children。

This is a great classic children's book。 It is a picture book with a lot of repetition in it。 The book also has many colors and vivid illustrations。 This books helps children identify colors as well as objects。 It is a good story for children learning how to read。 I had this book read to me many times as child and I read it to my students at the pre school I work at。 I would recommend it for preschool or kindergarten age students。 This is a great classic children's book。 It is a picture book with a lot of repetition in it。 The book also has many colors and vivid illustrations。 This books helps children identify colors as well as objects。 It is a good story for children learning how to read。 I had this book read to me many times as child and I read it to my students at the pre school I work at。 I would recommend it for preschool or kindergarten age students。 。。。more

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See is a short picture book for ages 2-5- years old。 The book features animals and colors appealing to a younger audience。 The book also features repetition for younger audiences to potentially guess what they will see next。 On a scale of 1-5, I would rate this book a 3/5。 Although it was short, the intensity of finding out what would we see next was interesting。 If I read this to a younger audience, I am sure they would Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See is a short picture book for ages 2-5- years old。 The book features animals and colors appealing to a younger audience。 The book also features repetition for younger audiences to potentially guess what they will see next。 On a scale of 1-5, I would rate this book a 3/5。 Although it was short, the intensity of finding out what would we see next was interesting。 If I read this to a younger audience, I am sure they would enjoy the pictures, the color scheme, and the animals eventually coming together at the end of the text to be a group。 The book could enhance learning and development for children。 Learning and development was also discussed in my Chicka Chicka Boom Boom review which is also colorful and appealing to younger readers。 Although the book is centered around the alphabet and Brown Bear is focused on animals, both books can assist children in their sensorimotor and pre-operational period。 According to p。 19, the alphabet and numbers are being learned and children begin to comprehend that symbols are utilized to represent ideas。 Senses of stories are also a form of understanding at this developmental age。 。。。more

A favorite of ours。 We have a beautiful hardback copy, but getting the board book from the library was nice so our toddler could read it unsupervised during nap time

This is the best one, IMO。 I don’t care for the others in this series as much。 The Baby Bear one has some exciting action verbs words though。

This book is perfect for a lesson on animals! The story line is simple and kids will have fun with the last few pages asking what the teacher sees。 The colors in this book pop and make it easy to also talk about what colors the animals are。

I love this book it teaches so many things at one time。 The children will learn about different animals, and they will also learn their colors。 This book also helps the children with their memory。 I really like when it combines and list the different the different animals in a list。 Great book。

Grace Fischer

I like this book because it introduces words and animals in a fun and simple way。 The illustration pops out and teaches children different colors and shapes as well。

Amanda Woolard

The repetition in these books is good for children to understand colors, though it may drive parents bonkers。 It has a lovely sing-song rhythm。

Idk the teacher and kids scared me

This wonderful book with colorful pictures will make a reader out of most children。 You read the book with the child a couple of times。 Next thing you know the child is reading the book。 In the back are some basic comprehension exercises。 These tasks assure you that your child can read and does not have the book memorized。 Instead the child knows the names of the individual words。

Alishea Ramsey

I love the repetition and colors throughout the book。 I could use this book to teach my students their colors。

Sandy

Colors, animals and repetitive text。 All the elements of a perfect toddler book。

Tracey Congo

I love the illustrations in this book and the many different animals that are portrayed。 I would use this book to talk to young children about different kinds of animals。 I would also use it to review colors。

Controversial title in the DeCiMal household! K loves it, I like it, and T hates it and hides it on the regular。 I think she got more about identifying colors from this book than any other title or activity we tried, and it was familiar from daycare so helped us on days she was missing her teachers/friends。

Alexa Jaye

This is a very popular and cute book for children。 It also has amazing illustrations。
